FINAL PAGE I have now completed a contents that could feature in my school magazine. I used photoshop to create the page. This screen shots shows a picture of the sixth form common room overlapping the Bodmin College logo. I was not happy with this effect and so i used the eraser tool to make it look as if it fits. I am much happier with the final page.

I like this piece. It is well laid out, easy to look at and conveys the key information in an effective manner. The mode of address is that of a friend telling the reader about his/her school eg Our new head of maths - is a very inclusive description. Yet the language isn't slangy and keeps to the standard English that we'd expect to see in a publication which came from the school. The logo sits well on the page and you have chosen relevant and eye catching images to engage the reader. Very pleasing foundation work!
